Fill and steam(35 min)
Mix pork, minced shrimp, mushrooms, soy, sesame oil, cornstarch. Hold a wrapper in your palm, add 1 tbsp filling. Squeeze into a cup shape, leaving the top open and the filling exposed. Flatten the bottom. Top with a piece of diced shrimp. Steam 8 min. Serve with chili oil and soy dipping sauce.
Pro Tips for Western Kitchens
The exposed filling is intentional — the top gets a beautiful caramelized look and the shrimp garnish is the dim sum signature.
